Gite holiday near Monpazier and Villereal

The gites at Fonguilleres, 2km from Villereal and about 12km from Monpazier, are perfectly placed to explore the area shown here, and the rest of the Dordogne and northern Lot-et-Garonne regions. (The immediate area is explored in these 'Monpazier Holiday Idea' pages)

One of the gites, a 17th century cottage, sleeps 2 people (plus a baby). The other property, a traditional Perigord farmhouse, sleeps to 8 people (in 4 bedrooms). There is also a large swimming pool, and gardens/terraces.

The two houses are close to Villereal, a lovely and lively medieval town, and both Monpazier and Monflanquin (both listed as 'most beautiful villages in France') are each about 12km away. Many other beautiful towns, caves, villages etc are found throughout the region.
